Предисловие

Эта книга предназначена для учителей английского языка общеобразовательных учреждений, репетиторов и обучающихся, которые самостоятельно готовятся к сдаче ОГЭ по английскому языку.

Настоящее пособие представляет собой сборник текстов, а именно тематических монологических высказываний на самые актуальные темы, которые указаны в кодификаторе ОГЭ.

Пособие поможет результативно сдать устную часть ОГЭ, а именно задание 3. Цель задания – построить связное монологическое высказывание на определённую тему с опорой на план.

Все материалы, представленные в книге – оригинальные авторские тексты, которые были написаны и адаптированы под современных подростков и могут быть использованы на уроках, дополнительных занятиях и при организации внеклассной работы. Следует отметить, что тексты в данном учебном пособии по объёму превосходят высказывание, которое необходимо для экзаменуемого (10—12 предложений), поэтому учащиеся при подготовке могут сократить их и использовать только те части, которые близки им по цели высказывания и более просты для запоминания.

Подготовку к заданию 3 устной части ОГЭ по английскому языку важно начинать заблаговременно, так как именно эта часть экзамена является для многих обучающихся самой трудной и считается заданием повышенной сложности (максимум-7 баллов). Также важно помнить о критериях оценивания выполнения задания 3:

– решение коммуникативной задачи;

– организация высказывания;

– языковое оформление высказывания.

Как работать с учебным пособием:

1) выбрать топик на интересующую вас тему;

2) внимательно прочитать текст;

3) выписать и запомнить новые слова, устойчивые выражения, средства логической связи;

4) сделать пересказ прочитанного текста;

5) составить типовое тематическое высказывание с опорой на прочитанный текст

6) повторить и закрепить проработанный материал

Travelling in Russia

Now I would like to tell you about travelling in Russia.

For sure, everyone loves to travel, both children and adults. But it seems to me, that teenagers enjoy travelling more than grown-ups. The first reason is that they do not have their own family therefore they have more free time and less problems. The next reason, I think, is that the grown-ups are not as easy-going as teenagers. They usually want to stay in their familiar [fə’mɪlɪə] (знакомый, привычный) environment, or sometimes the journey becomes difficult for them for health reasons. From my point of view, travelling has become more popular in Russia because everyone knows that in the Soviet Union the borders for the simple people were practically closed. They hardly could go somewhere. Now, I think, people in my country have got the opportunity to travel and they can do it easier. They can choose any distances and countries to go and book the hotel and tickets on the Internet without leaving home what is very convenient. Moreover, they have become more interested in the way of life of people in other countries, their traditions and culture because of the Internet. They want to see, learn and feel something new.

As I see it, travelling may not harmful at all. During travelling people get unforgettable impressions and vivid [’vɪvɪd] (яркий) emotions, meet new people, learn about their lifestyle and culture. They see other countries and continents, modern cities and ancient towns, visit museums and art galleries. It is a good way to study history and geography. Travelling is the best way to broaden your mind as well.

The best journey I have ever taken is the journey to the Black sea. It was 2 years ago. My family and I spent by the sea for 3 weeks. We swam, sunbathed, played beach volleyball all day long. After that journey I was full of energy and enthusiasm [ɪn’tju: zɪæz (ə) m] (энтузиазм) to study and my health became better.

In conclusion, I would like to say that travelling is the best way to know the world.

London

Now I would like to tell you about London.

No doubt, London is a very beautiful old city. It is worth seeing. Personally, if I go to London, firstly, I will visit the most famous sights and museums such as the Tower. Now it is a museum, but in different times this castle was a fortress [’fɔ: trɪs] (крепость), a royal palace, a prison [prɪzn] (тюрьма). The next sight I would like to visit is Buckingham Palace, it is the official residence of the Queen. The next one is the Clock Tower with the famous Big Ben. This tower has become a visiting card of the British capital. Speaking about London, it is impossible to say nothing about The British Museum where you can find works of art from ancient Asia, Egypt, Rome, Greece and other countries.

In fact, I would like to see Westminster. It is the historical area in London. I know there are a lot of famous monuments and buildings. One of the most beautiful places is Westminster Abbey [«æbɪ] (аббатство, монастырь). All the kings and queens were crowned [kraʊnd] (коронованный) here.

From my point of view, before you go to London, you should learn some important things. Firstly, be polite. «Thank you», perhaps, is the most important phrase in England. Secondly, do not criticize the Queen and Royal family. Thirdly, be friendly, interested, sympathetic [sɪmpə'θetɪk] (сочувственный, участливый) and self-confident (уверенный в себе). You should remember during a conversation the most important thing to do is to smile.

There are some of the most popular souvenirs [’su: vənɪəs] which tourists usually bring home from London. They are an umbrella with a print of the British flag, T-shirts and hats with prints of London attractions and the key- rings with a little double-decker bus or with a little Red telephone box.

In conclusion, I would like to say that everyone will find what to bring from this country. I heard that the shops for tourists are located almost at every step.

Reading the post from the Internet

Now I would like to tell you about reading the post from the Internet.

In fact, reading plays a very important role in the life of people. Books are a great source of information, knowledge and enlightenment [ɪn’laɪtnmənt] (просвещение).

Nowadays, people read more from their phones, laptops, computers and tablets. I think this happens for a number of reasons. Firstly, now almost each person has at least one of these devises. They can access the Internet from them easily. Therefore, they can download any book from the Internet and read it everywhere they go. It is very convenient. Secondly, there are a large number of sites which offer to do it for free. Moreover, on these sites you are offered a large number of different books, even the newest. So, you do not waste your time and money going to the bookshops or libraries.

Indeed, I read posts, news and other information from the Internet almost every day. Personally, I cannot imagine my life without the Internet. It helps me to get in touch with my friends, to be abreast [ə’brest] (быть в курсе) the news in the world, to find useful information to do my homework.

As for me, I have two accounts in the social networks. The first one is in Vkontakte, the second one is in Telegram. I use them to communicate with my friends and relatives. My favourite website is Vkontakte because the interface is very simple and there are a lot of developed features [’fi: ʧəz] (разработанные функции) in it such as music compositions, communities [kə’mju: nɪtɪz] (сообщества), podcasts, videos and useful news.

Actually, I usually use my phone to read posts from the Internet when I have free time and it can be everywhere: in transport when I go somewhere, at home, at school during the breaks.

In conclusion, I would like to say that the Internet has changed our life drastically [’dræstɪklɪ] (радикально, кардинально). It can be very useful, for example, on the Internet you can book tickets, buy different goods at the e-shops, read the latest news and communicate with other people.

New Year celebration in Russia

Now I would like to tell you about New Year celebration in Russia.

New Year is a very popular holiday all over the world. It is celebrated in almost every country.

People like celebrating this holiday because firstly, I think, it is a family holiday. This is a good reason for the whole family to gather around the festive table, to remember all the best in the outgoing [aʊt’gəʊɪŋ] (уходящий) year and to plan something for the future. During the celebration New Year people have fun, tell jokes, sing songs, dance and watch festive concerts on TV. All the people are in a good mood and happy. Secondly, they hope that the next year will be better than the last one. New Year is always connected with our new dreams. Moreover, who does not like to receive gifts? This holiday is bright and magical because everyone gets a present from Grandfather Frost. It is an official day off and people have a break from their daily work.

As for our family, we start preparing for this holiday beforehand [bɪ’fɔ: hænd] (заранее, заблаговременно). We buy a beautiful fir [fɜ: ] (ель) at the end of December, decorate it with toys, little coloured lights, sweets and a beautiful star on the top. On New Year’s Eve we help our mum to prepare the festive supper and lay the table. All the members of my family clean the flat before this nice holiday and then each of us tries to dress well.

Personally, I love to participate in the preparation of this holiday. On New Year’s Eve I get up early and do all my best. I usually do the shopping with my dad, clean my room and our flat and help my mum to prepare and lay the festive table.

My best present which I have ever got is a cat (a computer, a phone, a tablet, a trip to Thailand, ……). I was given this as a gift 2 years ago.

In conclusion, I would like to say that New Year is my favorite holiday. This is a holiday of fulfillment [fʊl’fɪlmənt] (выполнение, исполнение) of wishes and hope that everything will be better in the future.
